The children's playroom was impressive, though not fully ready, and the kids' pool was a delightful highlight. Room cleaning was impeccable, and having a doctor available at the hotel proved invaluable when our daughter fell ill in the night. The air conditioning, unfortunately, was set too cold, which impacted comfort. Occasionally, staff responsiveness felt lacking during peak times, which detracted from the experience.

The Minos hotel is a fantastic base for exploring Crete or just kicking back on the lovely sandy beach just 200m away. The staff treated us like family, making our stay incredibly warm and welcoming, especially with a small dog in tow.
My wife says that a later pool closing time would be great for families.

Amazing stay with great vibes
We loved the super friendly staff who were always ready to help with tips and info! The location was spot on—beach just a quick stroll away. Breakfast was fab too, tons of choices! Just wish there were a few more vegetarian options at dinner. Pools looked nice, but we didn’t get in. a solid place.

Breakfast was something to rave about – I devoured freshly baked European bread and indulged in delicious local treats that set the tone for our day. The room we stayed in was spotlessly clean and spacious, with a lovely terrace perfect for basking in the sun. And let’s not skip the part where the staff surprised us with a gift of local olive oil—a lovely gesture indeed!
The pools closed rather early at 6 PM. I’d have preferred a leisurely dip until 8 PM. the children’s playroom had a small section that needed some sprucing up—just some friendly advice !
